Security Support Senior – Dayton, OH (Wright‑Patterson AFB)

MTSI is seeking a Security Support Senior to support our customer’s security activities. This position requires a security professional with experience in Special Access Programs (SAP) focusing on the protection and safeguarding of SAP and SCI activities across Program Security Management, Personnel Security, Information Security, Document Control, Physical Security, Security Education and Training, and Operations Security (OPSEC). The intent is to provide long‑term continuity and a viable security program.

An exception may be granted on a case‑by‑case basis for senior‑level education requirements for these positions.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies and guidance for conducting SAP/SCI operations.
• Manage activities and provide advisory assistance to unit members in accordance with program directives and Security Classification Guides (SCG).
• Advise on current personnel security policies and procedures for obtaining and maintaining SAP and SCI access.
• Assist in the management of SAP and SCI access quotas and maintain an internal master program access database.
• Provide review of Program Access Request (PAR) nominations and expertly prepare packages for additional review, Letters of Compelling Need (LOCN), and waiver packages for further review.
• Maintain JADE records in the database to include privacy act information, foreign contact/travel information and program accesses.
• Maintain personnel security dossiers that include initial and refresher training records, PARs, indoctrinations, debriefs and other required information.
• Accurately and without incident transmit classified, contractor proprietary and sensitive information via a variety of classified networks and secure fax machine.
• Control all incoming and outgoing magnetic media and maintain related database and disposition records.
• Perform all aspects of physical security for classified facilities, including entry control, meeting rosters, issuing visitor badges, alarm checks, guard force response, and alarm system entry.
• Conduct entry/exit checks to ensure prohibited devices are not introduced and classified materials are not improperly removed.
• Identify and report deficiencies to ensure facility infrastructure and integrity are properly maintained.
• Assist functional planners in identifying OPSEC indicators, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures; implement OPSEC measures to protect program operations and activities.
• Develop and implement a Security Education and Training Program designed and tailored to meet the specific SAP and SCI security requirements of the organization.

• Possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) work.
• Have no less than three (3) years’ experience in a Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environment within the last five (5) years.
• Hold a Master of Arts/Science degree (waiver may be granted based on experience level).
• Top‑Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position, due to contract requirements.
