Entry-Level Sales Representative Plastics

An international manufacturer of extruded plastic components for use in a wide array of industries is looking for a motivated Entry-Level Sales Representative to join their team in the Northern Dayton, OH area. This is an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing, professional mindset and 1-3 years’ prior experience in sales. Prior experience in manufacturing industries is a plus.

• Identify opportunities for new business development and establish relationships with potential customers
• Interface with customers and clients regarding product issues, quality assurance, questions, etc.
• Collaborate with sales teams and clients on matters of market analysis, product planning, and expected demand
• Travel to customer sites as needed
• Create price quotations and negotiate prices and costs with customers; secure product orders and follow up on tracking and delivery
• Data entry of order and customer information
• Prepare sales data and other information and make presentations to sales team
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor Degree preferred; minimum of an Associate’s degree or other combination of education and relevant experience
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with prospective and existing customers
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.
• This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, lift in excess of 20 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
