DescriptionThis entry‑level თითქმის sales representative position focuses on Field Sales Franchise. The Franchise Development Representative is responsible for developing and implementing a plan to maximize net sales of圆 BIPI and co‑promoted therapeutic products, in alignment with BIPI commercial leadership, guidelines, policies, and directives. The role requires traveling to key targeted healthcare providers, community hospitals, teaching hospitals, federal and military hospitals, managed health care facilities, group purchasing organizations, integrated delivery networks, etc.,
using in‑person and/or digital/virtual platforms. Additional assignments may include home‑office or field‑based special projects, as requested by Sales Leadership. As an employee of Boehringer Ingelheim, you will actively contribute to the discovery, development, and delivery of our products to patients and customers and have the opportunity to collaborate musamman globally, directly impacting company success.
- Generate sales, market share, and profitability results for the assigned territory under the direction of Field TBM/Sr. TBM.
- Achieve sales objectives to support attainment of territory performance goals.
- Apply intermediate product knowledge and effective selling skills to influence customers to use the therapeutic portfolio.
- Execute brand strategies including sales promotions, point‑of‑sale activities, and pull‑through programs to ensure a consistent company sales and marketing message (under a mentor’s direction).
- Leverage internal and external resources effectively.
- Engage customers through a variety of digital media and platforms (live/remote video conferences, marketing email, etc.).
- Conduct all company business in compliance with regulations (EEO, FDA, etc.) and company policy, reporting violations to management.
- Manage the assigned territory and fulfill the sales and marketing objectives with guidance from the TBM/Sr. TBM.
- Collaborate with all customer‑facing roles (Account teams, Medical teams, etc.) to meet customer needs and achieve net sales objectives.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative territory information to optimize business plans and customer calls.
- Monitor local market conditions for changes impacting business.
- Develop plans to optimize allocation of key resources such as samples, co‑pay cards, speaker program funds, and in‑office meal funds.
- Adjust implementation plans regularly based on marketplace dynamics.
- Utilize a structured sales process, showing persuasiveness, tenacity, and organization.
- Contribute to the discovery, development, and delivery of BIPI products to patients and customers.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or one (1) year of sales/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, pharmacy, B2B, customer engagement services, or at least two (2) semesters in a Sales Internship or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and database applications.
- Ability to travel (may include overnight travel); must reside in territory.
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Authorization to drive a company‑leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
- Aptitude and desire to sell, gain market knowledge, and learn technical product knowledge.
- Interpersonal skills, drive, resilience, teamwork, organization, and strong verbal and written communication.
- Persistent persuasive skills necessary to initiate and close sales.
