Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, serving, demonstrating, intercepting consumers and selling products in a professional manner. The Associate manages event execution equipment in stores and maintains a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
DescriptionPay Rate: $15.00 /hour
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean and secured in agreed areas.
- When Supervisor is absent, communicate with store management about upcoming and past events.
- Act as point person for all events conducted in the store, assisting other specialists as needed.
- Provide leadership and knowledge to the team.
- Acquire knowledge of represented products.
- Intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to consumers positively.
- Assist/perform all job responsibilities assigned to the demo program.
- Communicate product features and benefits effectively.
- Prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines.
- Use small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers and knives to prepare samples.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare event table for execution.
- Complete all assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Submit expense reports per Company Policy.
- Submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Takes digital photos of perfect table setup to document success stories.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week; the company maintains discretion to change the role based on business needs.

Education/
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
Computer
Skills:
Proficient ability to use and navigate personal computer and mobile device applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Food Safety Professional Certification, local food handlers permit if required.
Physical Demands: Standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, visual reading, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladder (up to 6’), balancing, lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds; pushing/pulling a fully laden wheeled demonstration cart; preparing foods using raw products and various cooking utensils; contact with cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Point of contact when supervisor is absent.
Working Conditions: Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance: Must present a neat, clean, appropriately groomed appearance; specific retailer dress code requirements in training documents.

Skills:
English is primary; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
