Assistant Managers at Old Scratch Pizza oversee, direct, and coordinate the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
For this position, at least two years of active restaurant Assistant Manager experience is required.

As an Assistant Manager, a typical day might include the following:

• Develop good customer relationships and address customer service needs.
• Hire, train, schedule and manage employees in daily tasks.
• Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis.
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement.
• Schedule staff hours and assign duties.
• Count money and make bank deposits.
• Perform some food preparation or service tasks, such as cooking, clearing tables, and serving food and drinks when necessary.
• Assist the General Manager as directed.

Job Requirements:

At least two years of restaurant management experience.

• Slack Communication Platform

Compensation & Benefits:

$45,000+ per year depending on experience

• $45,000 base pay plus monthly bonuses after training

Work Environment:

This job entails frequent exposure to high temperatures and extreme cold. There is frequent contact/immersion of hands in water and sanitation solutions; as well as contact with produce items, dairy products, and frequent allergen related items such as nuts, citrus, gluten, etc.
