- Ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, and regulatory/legal requirements.
- Oversee inspection (examination) of incoming materials, ensuring that they meet requirements.
- Assisting in management of Corrective Action program which includes working with employees to assure timely and effective resolutions of CARs and NCs.
- Keeping up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality.
- Overseeing resolution of customer complaints and returns.
- Overseeing inspection of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Lead team of inspectors, auditors, analysts, and technicians.
- Devising and establishing quality procedures, standards, and specifications when necessary
- Reviewing customer requirements through such actions as contract review on Quality Clauses.
- Setting standards for quality.
- Making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet internal, customer, international, and national standards.
- Participate and support customer, internal, regulatory, and 3rd party audits.
