Overview

We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance and quality control efforts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes. This role will play a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction, product reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the quality assurance and quality control functions within the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements (AS9100, ISO, FAA, etc.).
  • Conduct internal and external audits to monitor adherence to quality systems.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain to resolve nonconformities and improve processes.
  • Oversee root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Manage supplier quality performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and defect prevention.
  • Serve as the customer-facing representative for quality-related issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and related quality management systems.
  • Proven experience with audits, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing industries.
  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in SPC (Statistical Process Control).
  • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
