This position serves as certified registered anesthestist (CRNA) within the Division of Anesthesia servicing Department of Surgical Services. While a CRNA will always be accountable for any anesthetic he/she performs, all anesthetics performed at DCH will be under the supervision of a staff Anesthesiologist within Children s Anesthesia Group, Inc. CAG . The CRNA utilizes specialized knowledge, skill, research and competency acquired through advanced professional training to promote optimum care of patients and families within the neonatal/pediatric population.
The CRNA utilizes the pre-operative assessments performed by the supervising staff Anesthesiologist to devise a plan for anesthetic induction, maintenance and emergence.
Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduation from an accredited AANA program, CRNA certification and licensure in the State of Ohio, PALS certification, communication/customer service/basic computer skills, good manual dexterity, and physical/emotional stamina.
Preferred: 1-3 years neonatal/pediatric experience
