Senior Helpers – ATC Healthcare Services

$62.00/hr

• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program of study.
• Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice.
• Must have ACLS & BLS certifications; certificates must be attached (American Heart Association).
• Must have vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines & preferred wound care experience.
• Must have OH or multi‑state compact RN license, must be attached to resume.
• At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Background screening as required by state or contract.
• Drug screening as required by contract.
• RN should be able to read medical equipment and documents; pushing carts and handling medical equipment may be a component of the job.
• Registered Nurses must be able to lift at least 30 pounds; walk up and down stairs; position patients and stand for prolonged periods.
• CPR as required by client facility; health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.

• Complies with ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures.
• Provides general care services, including assessment, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assesses healthcare needs of patients through routine assessments and develops individualized nursing and health care plans.
• Performs health screenings of patients or clients.
• Responds to emergency healthcare needs of patients.
• Collects and records data specific to the health status of patients or clients.
• Administers medications/treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners.
• Responsibilities vary by department (e.g., Emergency Room/Clinic, infection control, quality assurance, nurse anesthesia, etc.).
• Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Complies with accepted ethical conduct and professional standards of nursing practice.
• Provides patient care in a non‑judgmental, non‑discriminatory manner considering cultural diversity and age appropriateness.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
