Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site position located in the Dayton Metropolitan Area for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Lathe Machinist. The CNC Lathe Machinist will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, performing precision machining tasks, and producing high‑quality components based on specifications. Daily duties include machine setup and maintenance, quality checks on finished products, and troubleshooting any mechanical issues. Collaboration with the production team and adherence to safety standards are integral aspects of this role.
Qualifications- Strong skills in machine operation and CNC machining
- Proficiency in milling and machining processes
- Knowledge and application of quality control standards
- Ability to work with machinery and ensure proper maintenance
- Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in machining are a plus
- Previous experience in the metal fabrication or a related manufacturing environment is highly desirable
