Table Operator

2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm) Table Operator

Purpose

Responsible for removal of composite springs from production molds.

Essential Functions:

* Produces quality springs while removing from molds.

* Must be precise when removing springs to ensure no damage to springs or molds.

* Lifts and removes springs from mold using a hammer & chisel.

* Checks temperatures of the molds.

* Cleans and prepares molds for start of the production process.

* Must be able to organize all aspects of the process.

* Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.

* Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed.

* Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.

* Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.

* Exercise safe working habits while operating machines.

* Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Team Lead

* Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities.

* Must possess a high level of attention to details.

* Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.

* All other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

* High School Diploma/GED required.

* Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs. preferred

Minimum Qualifications

* Ability to work overtime, as production demands require.

* Must be able to utilize hand tools and may work in a team or independently.

* Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.

* Must follow all safety practices and policies.

* Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Physical Demands

* Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp.

* Frequent use of firm grasping, fine manipulation, and pitching.

* Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.

* Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.

Environmental Conditions

* Non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.

* Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
