- High school diploma or GED required
- Manufacturing experience is a plus-but we'll train the right person
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Basic math skills: decimals, fractions, percentages, ratios, and conversions
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Learn to set up and operate multi-spindle Davenport and Acme machines
- Follow blueprints and process documents to meet quality standards
- Assist in developing methods for machining complex or custom parts
- Regrind high-speed and carbide tooling as needed
- Troubleshoot issues and make real-time adjustments
- Suggest improvements to programs and job processes
- Maintain production targets and accurate documentation
- Support and mentor fellow team members as you grow
- Perform routine machine maintenance
