OverviewCrossflow Technologies, Inc. is offering a Senior Configuration Manager to support our EPASS GB contract within the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate. The role is part of the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Initiative (MRO), a DOTMLPF-P transformation that standardizes business processes and enabling materiel solutions for Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC). The MRO system is a web‑enabled Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (eBS) solution running within the .mil
network, supporting planning, scheduling, and execution of organic depot maintenance across commodities, electronics, missile, and propulsion groups.
- Provide and maintain configuration management (CM) of all relevant system artifacts (documentation, source code, build files, scripts, etc.) to enable government builds and releases to production environments.
- Support CM, QA, PP, RM, and SE activities varying by program scope and development cycle.
- Use technical writing, critical thinking, and analysis to manage software, engineering documents, design drawings, and engineering changes, and conduct design audits.
- Review and evaluate the contractor’s CM program and data deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Maintain CM files, including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records.
- Implement CM plans.
- Participate in cross‑functional change control boards such as CCB, FRB, RRB, etc., to record and manage proposed and approved changes.
- Review board membership lists for currency and completeness.
- Support engineering assessments.
- Prepare for, conduct, and/or support major audits such as PCAs and FCAs.
- Record and maintain assessment and audit findings, minutes, and action items.
- Report contractor’s software delivery status.
- Support pre‑ and post‑contract award data reviews by attending meetings and capturing minutes.
- Review contractor conformance to CDRL requirements.
- Manage government and contractor correspondence.
- Support establishment of workflows.
- Ensure proper configuration item identification and documentation.
- Track configuration item deliverables and responses.
- Support development/sustainment of paper and automated archival systems for all covered documentation.
- Work closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, draftsmen, and design/manufacturing engineers in an integrated product team.
- Develop and administer configuration management plans.
- Maintain design traceability and integrity.
- Convene and manage change control boards.
- Assist the government with configuration control for ERP and IT systems, including planning, documentation, and inventory status accounting.
- Manage configurations of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes, and notices.
- Support requirements and change control boards by attending meetings and capturing minutes.
- Track and manage proposed and approved changes (ECPs, CRs, DRs/PRs) throughout the development & sustainment lifecycle.
- Ensure baseline integrity for major releases, minor releases, patches, and software maintenance.
- Provide QA checks on system baselines (Functional, Allocated, Product).
- Support licensing tasks and packaging/delivery of software to users.
- Maintain the CM library and software repository.
- Manage and control system baselines.
- Recommend and document comprehensive configuration management plans for software, hardware, firmware, and peripherals.
- Evaluate data and prepare plans and briefings for software‑driven systems.
- Monitor effectiveness of CM plans and make recommendations for resolution.
- Audit and review IT system configurations for compliance with specifications.
- Control configuration of IT systems and develop access and change control guidelines.
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and 10 years of experience, with five years in the DoW, OR
