• Key Responsibilities & Duties
• Set up and operate surface grinding equipment to produce parts to blueprint specifications
• Grind components to precise finishes, dimensions, and tolerances
• Dress grinding wheels using appropriate techniques for various materials
• Perform in-process and final inspections using standard gauges and measuring tools
• Complete production paperwork and inspection documentation accurately
• Identify and report quality issues, discrepancies, or equipment concerns to supervision
• Maintain tools, gauges, machines, and work area in a clean and safe condition
• Perform routine daily machine and area maintenance
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and verbal or written instructions
• Experience or strong exposure to surface grinding or precision grinding operations
• Comfortable working in a tight-tolerance environment (+/- .0002 preferred)
• Knowledge of grinding wheels, materials, and dressing techniques
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Willingness and capacity to learn additional machining skills, including CNC operation
• Dependable, team-oriented mindset in a production manufacturing environment
