Brief Description

We're looking for a skilled Cutter/Grinder Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has expertise in operating and programming CNC cutter grinding machines and is dedicated to producing high-quality tools and parts. This role requires precision, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation & Programming:
    Program, set up, and operate Walter Power machines using Tool Studio software and Saacke TTB machines using Numroto software. A strong background with Walter/Tool Studio is a plus.
  • Tool & Part Inspection:
    Inspect finished tools and parts to ensure they meet exact specifications.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Diagnose and resolve issues with machine performance, programs, and tool quality.
  • Design Improvement:
    Collaborate on and implement design improvements for cutting tools to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Wheel Dressing:
    Operate and maintain a wheel dressing machine.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Cutter/Grinder Technician.
  • Proficiency in programming, setting up, and running Walter Power and Saacke TTB machines.
  • Strong understanding of Tool Studio and Numroto software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and programming issues effectively.
  • GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Zoller tool inspection machines is a plus.
  • Experience with Eurotech measuring machines is a plus.
