Machinist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist who will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes, performing dry runs on new programs, and ensuring parts meet customer prints and specifications. This role requires adjusting offsets and performing minor programming.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC lathes.
- Perform dry runs on new programs.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet customer prints and specifications.
- Adjust offsets and perform minor programming as needed.
- Conduct quality checks using micrometers, dial calipers, thread gages, and verniers.
- 2+ years experience interpreting blueprints, detailed customer drawings, and specifications.
- 2+ years experience performing CNC set ups with live tooling.
- 2+ years experience adjusting offsets and performing minor programming.
- 2+ years experience performing quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
- 2+ years experience with CNC Lathe operations and manual machines.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience setting up and operating manual machines is a plus.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
