Are you a safety professional who prefers a job site to a desk? A respected, family-oriented Specialty Mechanical Contractor is seeking a Leasing Manager. This isn't an administrative "policy-writing" role—it’s a visible, high-impact leadership position where you will spend 70% of your time in the field identifying hazards, mentoring crews, and "shaking hands" across multi-million dollar HVAC systems, chillers, process piping, and Design-Build MEP projects in Healthcare, Education, Industrial, and Municipal sectors.
- Field-Focused Leadership: You will spend the majority of your week visiting major job sites across the region (Dayton, Columbus, Cincinnati, N. Kentucky, and Indiana).
- Regional Offices: You can utilize offices in Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus for reporting—no need to drive to Dayton every day.
- Safety Program Ownership: You are the primary advisor to the executive team, leader of the Safety Committee, and the face of safety for 150 field employees.
- Mentorship whichever Influence: Use your "field-first" personality to correct behaviors in real-time. You aren't just a "safety cop"—you are a respected mentor.
- Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct walk-throughs to identify risk hazards, ensure compliance with OSHA standards, or stop unsafe work as needed.
- Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause analysis for any incidents, corrective actions, records documentation, and collaborate with HR on Transitional Work (Return-to-Work) programs.
- Training & Development: Deliver engaging hands‑on safety training and manage the Hazard Communication Program.
- Equipment Oversight: Recommend and order PPE, safety gear, and ensure tools/machinery meet safety specifications to maintain readiness at job sites.
- External Liaison: Participate in trade group events, and act as the point of contact for OSHA, fire departments, and emergency response teams.

Safety
Experience:
7+ years of progressive safety experience (Coordinator, Lead, Manager) in commercial construction (HVAC, brazos, piping, sheet metal, electrical, drywall, masonry, or related trades). - Demonstrated Leadership: You’ve held a leadership role for 3+ years (Foreman, Leader, Manager, Supervisor).

Able to build trust, enforce standards, and engage with field crews constructively. - Certifications
Required: OSHA 500 or 501 (Outreach Trainer), 510 (Construction) or OSHA 511 (General Industry) 500‑series preferred; CHST or CSP is ideal but not required. - Travel: Must be comfortable driving regionally across multiple job sites weekly (no overnight travel).

- Performance Bonus: 5% – 8% annual bonus based on company profit and personal milestones.
