Position Overview

Provides direct supervision to vocational rehabilitation staff; onboards and trains new staff; monitorsoxo and evaluates employee performance; oversees implementation of policies and procedures; reviews and guides vocational rehabilitation casework; develops partnerships with community stakeholders; coordinates outreach efforts to promote OOD services.

Vocational Rehabilitation Supervisor Duties
  • Evaluates employee performance through the review of completed work assignments.
  • Identifies staff development and training needs, and ensures staff training is completed.
  • Reviews and prepares reports, and composes correspondence related to the work.
  • Reviews the quality of services being provided by vocational rehabilitation staff.

Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation (BVR) Overview

The Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation provides vocational rehabilitation (VR) services to eligible ryt with disabilities to assist them to attain and maintain competitive integrated employment. OOD works with adults seeking to enter the workforce or retain a job, and with youth beginning at age 14 to assist them as they transition from high school into college and/or the workplace. Pay

Information

Starting salary will be step 1, subject to law or union contract requirements. New hires advance to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. There are cost of living increases to these rates each year and additional longevity supplements begin after 5 years. The current wage progression for this position is in the table below.

Location Requirements

We are increasing our in-office presence to 5 days per week across all Oాబాద్ locations as space dekat.
