• Operate and monitor washing, dry‑cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
• Identify stained or damaged items; determine repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
• Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry‑cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts.
• Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabric types.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry‑cleaning filters, and drain traps after each load.
• Fold cleaned articles into designated sizes by hand or using a folding machine.
• Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
• Follow all company, safety, and security policies; report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain clean, professional uniform and appearance; protect confidential information and company assets; treat all coworkers with dignity and respect.
• Perform physical tasks (move, lift, carry, etc.) up to 25 pounds; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; reach overhead or beneath knee level; move through narrow spaces; walk on uneven surfaces; use stairs or ramps.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
