HVAC & Electronic Assembly - 1st Shift - L4

Overview

The position of HVAC Assembly & Test will be responsible for the assembly and inspection of various HVAC assemblies and subassemblies. Responsibilities include plumbing, wiring, refrigerant charging of units, testing and packing.

• Must possess EPA 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification (Type II or Universal)

  • A passing test and required certification must be obtained within 30 days of the acceptance of this position
• Must be able to pass AWS B2.2 certification test within 90 days (Limit 2 attempts)
• Brazing & soldering experience
• Must have basic math skills – adding/subtracting/angles/fractions/etc.
• Training and/or experience in the troubleshooting & repair of HVAC systems
• Must comprehend and use wiring schematics
• Must comprehend and use assembly prints/work instructions

• Ability to work on feet most of the day
• Must be able to work with hands

• Must be able to perform at routed rate
