Duties

The United States Space Force (USSF) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio is searching for a Space and Counter space Intelligence Production Manager for NSIC (GG-0132-12). This position will be one of three National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) squadron-level Space and Counter space Intelligence Production Managers (PM); these PMs will work directly for NSIC squadrons, namely the First Intelligence Analysis (1 IAS) Squadron, the Third Intelligence Analysis Squadron (3 IAS), and the Fourth Intelligence Analysis Squadron (4 IAS), on a team of PMs.

This role serves as a contact for all incoming production or collection requirements and Requests for Information (RFIs) on behalf of the squadron. The responsibilities of the squadron intelligence PM include evaluation of complex space and counter space requirements for production or collection in support of the customer, determination of the squadron's approach to support the customer requirement for collection or production consistent with the squadron's overall programs, and administration of the squadron's implementation of knowledge management tools, processes and procedures in collaboration with the NSIC production management team, which is responsible for NSIC intelligence and operations.

The PM validates that the requirements are not redundant and meet minimum criteria established by NSIC for acceptance and prioritization, and adjudicates actions between authorized customers and the Service or Joint Command Center. The PM engages with the squadron's Director of Analysis (DA), Director of Operations (DO), and the Squadron Director or Commander as well as with NSIC production management team to accomplish the completion of intelligence and collection requirements, intelligence production, and analysis across the squadron.

The PM tasks incoming Production Requirements (PRs), collection requirements, RFIs, and Tasks for Record (TFRs) to the appropriate office, engages with other PMs or collection managers, and disseminates responses to customers. The PM implements the squadron's use of and business rules for production and requirements management tools. The PM publishes NSIC intelligence productions via Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) tools and migrates the products to the appropriate networks.

The PM works with NSIC production management team to curate NSIC intelligence products on web portals and landing pages. The PM prepares and maintains key performance indicators on squadron intelligence production.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess:
Intelligence Community (IC) production management or collection requirements experience, knowledge of or experience with space and counter space intelligence analysis or collection requirements, skilled ability to coordinate and collaborate within the IC on projects or requirements, and a technical knowledge of IC production/requirements processes, tools, and systems.
