Job Summary
This position supports an Agile development team delivering web-based microservices for command and control of space operations within a secure, containerized environment. The role focuses on managing release cycles, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliable, secure deployment of mission-critical applications through close collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and execute recurring software release cycles
Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for mission applications
Automate build, test, and deployment processes across secure environments
Partner with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure release readiness
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve release issues to minimize downtime and risk
Document release processes and provide guidance to engineering teams
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Five or more years of experience in release engineering, Dev Ops, or build/release management
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and platforms
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience working in secure, mission-critical environments
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
Active Top Secret security clearance
Experience supporting Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, and Security as Code practices
Expertise with modern software factory CI/CD processes, tools, and technologies
Knowledge of secure software development methodologies and security-first infrastructure design
Familiarity with security standards and compliance frameworks such as NIST and STIGs
Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams using collaboration and tracking tools
