We are seeking an experienced Power BI Platform Developer to support our customer at Wright Patterson AFB. This role will work closely with the organization application development team to support efforts to develop and implement the Digital Business Operations strategy. The contractor will leverage Microsoft Power Platform tools – Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI – to create innovative solutions that drive process optimization and automation, reduce toil, and improve operational efficiency.

• Application Development and Customization:
  Design, build, and deploy canvas apps, model‑driven apps, and Power Pages based on requirements. Customize Power Apps using Power Automate, Power BI, and AI Builder for automation and advanced functionalities. Develop and integrate custom components using the Power Apps Component Framework when needed.
• Data Integration and Connectivity:
  Connect Power Apps to Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Dynamics 365 and other third‑party APIs. Develop custom data connectors and ensure seamless integration with enterprise applications. Optimize data models and performance to ensure efficient application functionality.
• Automation and Workflow Management:
  Create and manage Power Automate Flows to automate tasks, approvals, and notifications. Implement process automation and rule‑based logic to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and Support:
  Diagnose and resolve Power Apps performance issues, errors, and integration challenges. Provide support and documentation for deployed apps. Optimize apps for scalability, performance, and usability.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
  Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications. Collaborate with Power Platform administrators, developers, and data engineers for end‑to‑end solution development.
• Stay updated on new Power Platform features: AI capabilities and Microsoft updates. Optimize existing Power Apps by incorporating automation, AI‑driven insights, and improved UI/UX design. Implement best practices for low‑code development, governance, and lifecycle management.

• 8 years relevant progressive experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with a Master’s degree in a related field.
• Security clearance (or the ability to obtain one) and U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience hitting project milestones, maintaining a project schedule, providing documentation, etc.
• Superb communication skills and strong public speaking skills.
• Must be able to work on site at WPAFB, Dayton, OH at least 3 days per week.
• Prior experience with USAF, AFRL, or DoD customers preferred.
