The Opportunity:

Essnova Solutions, Inc., an Inc. 500 federal contractor and SBA 8(a)/HUBZone-certified small business, is seeking a highly competent Capture Manager with the strategic acumen and execution horsepower to drive high-value wins across our federal portfolio. With access to powerful contract vehicles including GSA OASIS+, Seaport NxG, FAA eFAST, GSA MAS, and 8(a) STARS III and deep capabilities in IT, Cybersecurity, Healthcare, Geospatial, and Environmental services, we are uniquely positioned for explosive growth.

Essnova possesses necessary clearances and ISO, and CMMI Level 3 certification and exceptional past performance.

The Role:

We are looking for someone who has personally led and won multiple large federal contracts- someone who brings strategic thinking, unmatched execution, and a sense of urgency to every pursuit. You must have a demonstrated history of owning the entire capture lifecycle, from initial opportunity detection through shaping, teaming, and transition to proposal. If you’ve never been fully accountable for a federal capture win, this isn’t the role for you.

What You'll Do:

You will identify, qualify, and shape winnable opportunities across federal contracting vehicles including IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, and small business set-asides. You will lead the strategy, drive competitive analysis, activate teaming relationships, and guide the development of compelling win themes. You will interface directly with government customers during market research, RFI, draft RFP, and Q&A phases. You will bring clarity to ambiguity and move fast to position Essnova ahead of each procurement cycle.

You will hand off fully captured opportunities to the proposal team, ensuring compliance matrices, technical solutions, and teaming documentation are complete and airtight.

Strategic Ownership of Capture Efforts:

  • Lead high-priority captures from opportunity identification through post-submission debriefs, ensuring alignment with Essnova’s growth goals and customer needs.

Maximize Contract Vehicles:

  • Aggressively position Essnova’s GSA OASIS+ (five domains), GSA MAS, and 8(a) STARS III vehicles to pursue and win complex task orders and IDIQs, especially in federal civilian and defense markets.

Pipeline Leadership:

  • Build and mature a robust pipeline of strategic pursuits using tools such as SAM.gov, Gov Win, and FPDS, and ensure visibility and accuracy through meticulous CRM tracking with Hub Spot, AI, or otherwise.

Develop Winning Strategies:

  • Lead the development of capture plans, win themes, competitive assessments, pricing strategies, and customer engagement plans. Collaborate cross-functionally to define differentiators and solution architectures that resonate with evaluators.

Agency and Partner Engagement:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with federal contracting officers, program managers, and industry partners. Lead outreach to potential teammates and negotiate teaming agreements (TAs) and NDAs.

Proposal

Collaboration:

  • Partner with proposal teams and technical SMEs to translate capture strategy into compelling, compliant proposals. Actively contribute to color team reviews and serve as the voice of the customer throughout.

Market and Competitive Intelligence:

  • Lead research and analysis of customers, incumbents, and key trends to inform pursuit decisions and optimize win probability.

Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure adherence to FAR, DFARS, and capture management best practices, including Shipley or APMP-aligned methodologies.
