• Conduct advanced analysis of collection and open-source data to generate insights and leads, ensure target continuity, profile targets and their activities, and develop techniques to gain additional target information.
• Maintain appropriate databases for targeting, tasking, and analysis.
• Develop comprehensive baseline profiles of designated target sets.
• Identify intelligence gaps to tailor current collection or enable new collection to close the gaps.
• Employ multiple analysis disciplines such as pattern recognition against targets' communications, network usage, and digital footprints.
• Apply knowledge and understanding of IC needs and missions, as well as the targets’ culture, behaviors, and communications technologies.
• Mentor other analysts on the tools and methodologies used to conduct TDNA.
Required QualificationsLevel 1: A high school diploma or GED plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
Degree in a liberal arts field (e.g., English, History, Communications, Languages and Cultures, International Relations, and Political Science) is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable.
Relevant experience must be in aspects of intelligence analysis (e.g., target development, social network analysis, and metadata analysis).
Level 2: A high school diploma or GED plus 9 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years, or a Doctoral degree and 2 years.
Same degree preferences and experience requirements as Level 1.
Level 3: A high school diploma or GED plus 12 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 10 years, or a Bachelor’s degree and 8 years, or a Master’s degree plus 6 years, or a Doctoral degree plus 4 years.
Same degree preferences and experience requirements as Level 1.
Level 4: A high school diploma or GED plus 15 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree plus 13 years, or a Bachelor’s degree and 11 years, or a Master’s degree plus 9 years, or a Doctoral degree plus 7 years.
Same degree preferences and experience requirements as Level 1.
