Service Technician

Dayton, OH – Onsite

As a Service Technician you will repair and maintain Trimble products, provide technical support for Trimble distribution partners and customers, and conduct technical training meetings.

• Complete repairs of Trimble products within established repair times.
• Read, understand, and follow repair instructions, service guidelines, and requirements for supporting and servicing Trimble products.
• Attend service training in both formal classroom and “On the Job” bench training environments.
• Clean product to meet cosmetic standards required for customer satisfaction.
• Attendance (Reliable).
• Accountable for documenting part numbers and quantity consumed for repairs.
• Obtain and maintain a less than 1% product repair return rate.
• Achieve established productivity matrices.
• Facilitate instructor‑led Technical Training Courses.

• 2‑yr. Technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• High School Graduate.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing electromechanical devices.
• Familiar with basic electronic theory and electronic test equipment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Capable of understanding and following written guidelines and requirements for supporting and servicing Trimble products.
• Capable of working with limited supervision.
• Strong computer skills.
• Experience conducting instructor‑led technical training seminars.

Trimble provides the following compensation range and additional benefits for this position. Compensation is based on a full‑time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range and to offer additional benefits and compensation.
