Brief Description

We are looking for an experienced, forward‑thinking EHS Manager to lead our safety culture and ensure our people and processes operate at the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
As the EHS Manager, you will be the driving force behind Norwood Medical's safety strategy and best practices. You will design, implement, and lead programs that protect our team, ensure compliance, and foster a proactive culture where safety and innovation work hand in hand.

What you will do- Develop and execute Norwood Medical’s EHS strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals, growth plans, and regulatory standards.
- Establish and maintain best practices across all aspects of environmental, health, and safety operations.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and HR to embed safety into daily decision‑making and long‑term planning.
- Conduct and oversee safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, turning insights into action.
- Manage OSHA, EPA, and local compliance programs and act as the company’s primary liaison for regulatory inspections.
- Lead engaging training programs that empower employees to take ownership of safety.
- Track, analyze, and report key EHS metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Champion employee wellness and ergonomic initiatives that enhance overall well‑being and productivity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 + years of progressive EHS experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven success developing and driving EHS strategy and best practices across diverse teams.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and influence skills across all levels of the organization.
- Professional certification (CSP, ASP, or equivalent) preferred.
- A proactive, improvement‑oriented mindset with a passion for building safe, high‑performing workplaces.
