Activities Assistant

Trotwood Health & Rehab, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team in Dayton, OH. In this role, you will help enhance the lives of our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

• Plan and organize recreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
• Assist residents in participating in daily activities and programs.
• Facilitate social interaction and encourage community involvement among residents.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to support individualized care plans.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment during all activities.

• Previous experience in activity coordination, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage residents of varying abilities.
• Adaptability and patience in a dynamic environment.
• Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in recreational therapy or related fields are a plus.
