Full-time nights 7:00pm-7:30am / 72 Hours Per Pay

The MICU Paramedic functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence. The MICU paramedic provides advanced emergency/critical care in conjunction with a Care Flight Nurse during transport and may also provide patient care for patients in Miami Valley Hospital and any Premier Health facility where a Mobile Intensive Care Unit is based. The Care Flight MICU paramedic works with all populations of patients.

This position also includes public relations and medical education functions.

High School completion / GED;
Certified as a Paramedic in the State of Ohio.

Paramedic in the State of Ohio.

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS

• 90 Days – ITLS or PHTLS
• 1 Year – NRP, ATLS (audit)
• 2 Years – CAMTS approved professional certification

Minimum 3 years of fulltime Paramedic experience required. Preferred to have recent fulltime active experience with 911 Emergency Service Agency or MICU Transport Company.
