Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) passionate about helping seniors maintain their independence and quality of life? Join our caring and collaborative team at Aventura at Carriage Inn, where your clinical skills and compassion will make a real difference every day.

We are looking for a licensed SLP/CCC to provide high-quality therapy services to residents with a wide range of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

• Evaluate and diagnose communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in adult and geriatric populations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize resident outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and social work.
• Document all services provided in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Educate residents, family members, and staff on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
• Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to discharge planning when appropriate.

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current SLP license in the state of Ohio.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical reasoning skills.
