Staff Pharmacist - Compounding

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our compounding pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and supporting our commitment to high-quality healthcare services. This position requires expertise in pharmacy practice.

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring optimal medication management and safety.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate medication needs and potential interactions.
• Administer medications accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing, inventory management, and patient records.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and health management strategies.
• Stay updated on advancements in compounding pharmacy.

• A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
  
  D.), Registered Pharmacist in Ohio.
• Previous experience in a community, hospital, or long-term care pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication administration protocols, and patient care standards.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for efficient workflow management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
