Job SummaryPremier Health Miami Valley Hospital is hiring a full‑time Patient Services Lead to coordinate patient meal service and special requests for the Patient Dining Program. The role requires overseeing dining associates, ensuring optimal staffing, and maintaining compliance with all food safety, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
Location & Schedule- Location:
1 Wyoming St., Dayton, OH 45409 - Schedule:
Full‑time; 11:00 am to closing, including every other weekend and holiday (details to be discussed during interview). - Pay: $18.00 per hour (fixed). Uniform provided.

- Oversee systems and processes to ensure strategic and operational objectives of the Patient Dining Program are achieved.
- Supervise Patient Dining Associates and ensure services include menu selection, tray assembly, and delivery.
- Work with caregivers and culinary team to develop menu alternatives for patients with food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences.
- Interact with nursing staff to evaluate daily patient meal selection, tray completion, delivery, and retrieval processes.
- Respond to patient needs promptly and communicate any concerns in a timely manner following department procedures.
- Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on liquid or restricted diets and specific calorie counts.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA policies.
- Comply with federal, state, JCAHO, local health, and sanitation regulations.
- Follow HACCP guidelines and other food safety protocols.
- Complete all required reports and conduct daily associate team meetings per MORRISON’s GR8 Start Meeting guidelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- At least one year of lead, supervisory, or management experience in a healthcare environment.
- Strong communication skills; ability to read and apply safety rules, procedure manuals, and operation instructions.
- Proficiency with ADT system and other hospital computer‑based systems.
- Physical ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds and operate food delivery carts.
