Overview

The EPIC Support Site Specialist is part of the Clinical & Quality Services department reporting directly to the EPIC Support Manager. The role coordinates the needs of offices and the providers’ use of EPIC EHR, supporting both employed and affiliated practices.

The EPIC Support Site Specialist will assist practices to develop, optimize, and implement workflow improvements that standardize the delivery of wellness, preventive, acute, and chronic care through the EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR). The candidate will work to ensure that practices have the support necessary to achieve optimum use of EPIC and for the implementation of best practice workflows.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 to 5 years of Clinical Medical Office experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of outpatient office operations and workflows is essential.
• Prior experience in EPIC ambulatory is greatly desired.
• Must be comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups; exemplary communication skills are required.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite are required.
• Ability to problem‑solve and remediate in a highly complex, matrixed environment.
• Self‑motivated to achieve the highest level of patient care and patient experience standards.
• Valid driver license and dependable transportation; substantial travel to offices across the network is required.
