Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. - Explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and procedures to
- Efficiently and accurately processes all pari‑mutuel wages in the tote
- Write, verify, and make payments on tickets for sports wagers in accordance with department policy and procedures and ensures compliance to applicable jurisdictional gaming statues and
- Write Sports tickets in an accurate and timely
- Create and enter player tracking
- Make payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verify tickets and
- Maintain a cash bank for his/her shift, responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary.
- Maintain and reconcile bank for assigned shift, following established cash‑handling policies and
- Process cash transactions for gaming customers and employees (Includes cashing TITO tickets, personal checks, markers, traveler’s checks, lottery tickets, exchange currency, and processing cash advance transactions).
- Be knowledgeable and comply with Title 31 regulations.
- Enroll patrons into the loyalty program, issue patrons loyalty program player cards, maintain accurate player tracking information, answer questions about patron’s accounts, and assist the Marketing Department with all gaming promotions.
- Counts down bank or window at end of each shift and reconciles to the draw amount.
- Completes a blind drop on all revenues collected during the shift.
- Operates assigned bank or window according to department and regulatory standards.
- Completes all required shift paperwork according to internal control standards.
- Records any applicable cash transactions that are required by Federal Law
