Job Description
AV has a full-time opportunity available for a Laboratory Support Generalist, focused on hazardous materials tracking and disposal, to join our team supporting research within the 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright‑Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH.

What You Will DoThe individual filling this position will be responsible for cradle‑to‑grave tracking and management of hazardous materials. The role also oversees hazardous waste tracking and disposal, and supports the equipment program, including tracking, disposing of, and monitoring assets across the Division. A highly organized, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic is required for success; this is an entry‑level position.
WhatQualifications You Will Bring
- Previous experience with either hazmart or equipment management.
- Previous experience working in a restricted, regulated environment.
- Preferred:
Previous experience working with the USAF. - Preferred: 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
- This position requires U.S. citizenship.

Salary Range$25 - $35
ITAR RequirementThis position requires access to information subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and EAR, or be approved for an export license. U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or protected status (refugee, asylee) also qualify. Some positions may require current U.S. citizenship due to contract requirements.
