Job Summary
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet internal and external quality standards. This role involves developing and implementing quality control systems, analyzing production data, verification of components and assembly specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols/procedures for systems & sensor manufacturing. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for product and process non-conformities. Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and support new product development and product launches. Lead internal and external audits (ISO 9001, customer audits, etc.).
Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Maintain calibration and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Support supplier quality management and evaluate supplier performance. Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field), Electrical preferred.
Experience with electrical circuit card assemblies, motors, and other electro-mechanical devices 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing). Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and control plans.
Experience with statistical analysis and quality software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills and Abilities
* Experience in a complex manufacturing environment (e.g., Electronics, Automotive, Aerospace) with a focus on electromechanical assembly.
* CQE/Six Sigma Green Belt preferred, or equivalent demonstrated experience in data-driven problem solving.
* Proficiency with ERP/MES systems; experience with data automation (Power Platform/Excel) is a plus
