Description
In this role, you’ll analyze vulnerabilities, develop (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and work hands‑on with firmware, software, and hardware security features. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers and customers across a variety of embedded platforms supporting cutting‑edge Department of War systems. This role includes travel (25–50%) for on‑site integration and support.
What You’ll Do- Support vulnerability analysis of embedded system architectures to identify and refine security requirements.
- Implement secure embedded firmware and software for target systems.
- Integrate, test, and deliver AT solutions to prime customers in collaboration with the broader engineering team.
- Contribute to system security architecture and design documentation.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of embedded systems software / relevant development experience.
- Familiarity with security features of commercial FPGAs, SoCs, and microcontrollers.
- Working knowledge of applied cryptography.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
- Willingness to travel 25–50% for integration and customer‑site support.
- Embedded software development on Linux‑based systems.
- Experience with ARM CPUs/SoCs.
- Background in systems engineering, including security architecture development and I&T of embedded systems.
- Familiarity with current NIST guidance and FIPS standards (e.g., CNSA 1.0).
- Experience developing key management architectures and implementations.
- Exposure to FPGA development tools, especially AMD/Xilinx devices, and integration of third‑party IP blocks.
- Experience with development and evaluation of for Department of War customers.
