Overview
We are seeking an Environmental Health Safety (EHS) coordinator for the Dayton, OH Plant manufacturing operations. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the occupational safety and health of our employees, temporary workers, service providers and partners. Additionally, you will help to improve the HSE culture, eliminate and reduce risks, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, group requirements and ensure environmental protection.
Responsibilities- Implements EHS standards
- Provide technical assistance on U.S. EHS Regulations (OSHA, EPA, NFPA)
- Site compliance reviews and defining/closing actions for gaps identified
- Collaborate with site leadership to achieve EHS Performance targets
- Advocates for safe conditions and safe behaviors
- Effective coach and role model
- Deploys EHS initiatives
- Tracks, Trends, and Measures key EHS metrics
- Administrator of electronic management system
- Ensures compliance standards and continuous improvement
- Bachelors Degree preferred. Preference in safety, environmental science, environmental engineering or related field
- HSE Management System experience (procedural and electronic system)
- Preferred - HSE certification (CSP, ASP, GSP, CHMM, etc.)
- Basic Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
