Senior Engineer, Capital Projects

Position Overview

As a Senior Engineer, Capital Projects your roles and responsibilities include:

• Lead mid-to-large capital projects
  : scope, schedule, budget, safety, and cost management
• Oversee construction, commissioning, and startup plans
• Perform process engineering and equipment procurement
• Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Mentor junior engineers

Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Senior Engineer, Capital Projects who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Senior Engineer, Capital Projects would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

• Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Ag/Biosystems, or related)
• 4+ years of relevant engineering experience (preferably 8+ years)
• Proven capital project execution experience (design to startup)
• Previous chemical, food, or related industry background
• Willing to travel up to 20% domestically
• Hands‑on approach in a fast‑paced plant environment

• Experience with large capital projects or portfolios
• Strong problem‑solving in manufacturing equipment and systems
• Industry‑specific know‑how in food and bioindustrial processes

Minimum Education: Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Ag/Biosystems, or related)

Minimum Experience: 4+ years of relevant engineering experience (preferably 8+ years)
