Mechanical Designer - Dayton, Ohio, United States
A company is looking for a Mechanical Designer to provide drafting and design support to the engineering department.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare layouts of subassemblies and projects requiring precision in areas such as piping assemblies and sheet metal fabrication.
- Investigate change requests, prepare change orders, and propose redesigns to enhance performance or reduce costs.
- Check the work of others and apply knowledge of design procedures and manufacturing processes.
- Associate's degree and 7+ years of mechanical design experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Creo 3D design software.
- System level design experience or experience in the heavy equipment / manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
