The Role . The Middle School Spanish Faculty must be a passionate and skillful teacher, who is eager to invest their talents in our world language program. They must establish a supportive and engaging environment for middle school students (grades 6-8) and Spanish I upper school students. This faculty member must demonstrate the ability to create developmentally appropriate curricula, work collaboratively with colleagues and parents, have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate teaching proficiency and comfort with a variety of different teaching and learning styles.

In addition, this teacher will have completed coursework or possess teaching experience in Spanish, and they should be committed to the ACTFL language proficiency standards and have a passion for sharing Spanish speaking cultures as manifested in music, films, cuisine, art and literature.

And, of course, you will get to Teach! As a middle school Spanish teacher you will get to teach multiple levels of middle school Spanish and upper school Spanish I.

All faculty can expect to travel with students (grades 4-12) for 1-3 weeks per year;
