• Be passionate about supporting the social, emotional, and academic growth of young children and help build resiliency skills in order to help prepare them for life's adversity.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards and IEP goals.
• Develop and maintain IEPs, behavior plans, and progress reports.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction based on data.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and service providers to support student success.
• Direct and support educational assistants in classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with deadlines and testing requirements.

• Valid State Board of Education of Ohio intervention specialist license (PK-5 or K-12) and compliance with the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct.
• Experience with children who have experienced trauma is preferred.
• Ability to physically support students with disabilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to supporting student engagement, accountability, and development.
• Satisfactory fingerprinting and criminal records check results (provided for free by MCESC!).
