Paraprofessional

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate aide to join our team at Mac-a-Cheek Learning Center. In this role, you will work directly with students, providing support in a variety of areas, including supervision, attending to physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs, and fostering a positive, nurturing environment.

Assignment

* 7 hours/day; 5 days/week; 188 days/year (prorated)

* Mac-a-Cheek Learning Center (Bellefontaine, OH)

Start Date

* August 1, 2026

Qualifications

* Valid ODE Aide Permit (may apply after being selected)

* Satisfactory results on criminal records check

* Experience with students with intensive behaviors preferred

* Candidate must be credentialed in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) OR be able to attend 4 days of TCI training and pass TCI test

* A passion for working with children and supporting their growth

* Strong communication skills, integrity, and maturity

* Patience, empathy, and professionalism when engaging with students

* A commitment to follow Madison-Champaign ESC rules and policies

* A servant-leader mindset, dedicated to helping students reach their full potential
