Job SummaryTo educate doctoral students in clinical psychology; to participate in service, scholarship, and teaching activities consistent with the mission of WSU and SOPP.
Minimum Qualifications- Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited institution.
- Demonstrated ability to teach practitioner students.
- Licensed in Ohio as a psychologist or able to acquire licensure in Ohio within one year of appointment (except for the Clinical Professor level).
- Broad commitment to the practitioner model of professional education.
- Documented evidence of sustained and high-quality activity in at least one of the three areas of scholarship, teaching, or service.
- Evidence recognized by others in the field at the national level.
- Performance in other two areas judged at least effective and sustained.
- Licensed in Ohio as a psychologist or able to acquire licensure in Ohio within six months of appointment
. - Documented evidence of sustained, superior quality activity in at least one of the three areas of scholarly, teaching, or service.
- Evidence recognized at national or international level.
- Performance in other two areas sustained high quality.
- Licensure in Ohio at the time of hire.
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship or equivalent.
- Clinical practice, teaching, and/or scholarship in diversity/equity/inclusion, child/adolescent/family psychology, forensics, neuropsychology, statistics/research methods, and/or psychopharmacology.
- Private practice opportunity.
- Administrative experience in key roles (committee chair, associate director of clinical training).
- Director, Psychological Assessment Services – 12‑month full‑time faculty position with administration, clinical supervision, teaching, scholarship, and service.
- Director of Clinical Training – 12‑month full‑time faculty position with administration, teaching, scholarship, and service.
(40%) Teaching and dissertations
(20%) Service, advising and committee work
(20%) Scholarship
(20%) Practice and program development
Working ConditionsGeneral office and higher education classroom environments. This is a special contract position. Special contract terms and conditions of employment apply.
