Automation & Control Technology with Robotics‑Part‑Time (Adjunct) Faculty

Main Campus – Dayton, OH
The Automation & Control Technology with Robotics program focuses on the installation and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems, industrial programming for control applications, and state‑of‑the‑art mechanical and robotic systems installation, modification and repair. Sinclair seeks part‑time adjunct faculty to teach face‑to‑face courses at our main campus in Dayton, Ohio and Course view Campus in Mason, Ohio with an immediate start date.
Starting pay is $1,016 per credit hour assigned to teach.

Principal responsibilities:
- Teach curriculum developed by the department
- Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning
- Prepare and provide syllabi for assigned sections in accordance with policies
- Use appropriate teaching strategies and instructional technology
- Modify methods to meet diverse student needs
- Support classroom and online efforts to promote student success
- Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and final grade rosters
- Maintain confidentiality of student information
- Maximum teaching load: 12 credit hours per semester
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering, electronics engineering technology, or related area (minimum)
- Tested
Experience:
High school diploma required, five years of experience in a related field, active journeyman’s card - Evidence of prior teaching experience preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills in a culturally diverse college community
- Knowledge of robotics and/or controls preferred
- Proficiency in modern educational technology, including multimedia instruction
- Industry experience preferred
