The Springfield City School District, home to The John Legend Theatre, is seeking Middle School Baseball Coach/Advisor for the  school year Spring Season. We are a nationally ranked Division I District serving approximately 7,500 Pre‑K through grade 12 students, in a vibrant learning community of 17 state‑of‑the‑art buildings in west‑central Ohio. Our academic and extracurricular aim is to ensure social and emotional learning growth for students with a wealth of opportunity, including a 1:1 initiative and the You Media Center, which is a digital learning lab offering students activities such as 3‑D printing, graphic design, and videography. • Completion of Coaches' Tool Chest Coursework
• Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Pupil Activity Permit as issued by the Ohio Department of Education

• Being a role model and mentor to student athletes
• Ability to build strong communication links between students, parents and the community
• Ability to build strong connections with collegiate level contacts both in academics and recruiting
• Action plans to create a disciplined team, both with coaches and student athletes

As a Middle School Baseball Coach, the stipend is $2,128.00

All "Requirements for Coach/Advisor" must be met on or before the first practice date and throughout the entire season of sport to be performed.
