Assistant Teachers: $19.00 per hour - with CDA

Don't have a CDA? We will help you earn this certificate within your first year.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday

Most AT positions are full-time.

Assistant Teachers work under the direction of a Lead Teacher and are a vital member of the classroom teaching team.

• play and interact with young children to support their emotional and educational needs.
• help the Teacher intentionally prepare and maintain an enriched learning environment.
• ensure the safety of all the children in their care.
• help assess the needs of each child in the classroom, then use the assessment to differentiate and individualize instruction to support each child's developing skills and knowledge.
• assist in implementing the curriculum - Creative Curriculum, Conscious Discipline, RIE, and NAEYC standards.
• work with diverse families, administrators, and team members.
• make learning meaningful.
