SummaryThis position is a Premier Physician Network position. Wright State University and Premier Physician Network have an enhanced affiliation agreement to transform health care delivery in the Miami Valley and beyond. As part of this collaboration, Wright State’s Boonshoft School of Medicine and Premier Physician Network seek physicians to enhance and elevate academic health organizations in clinical care, research, and education.
We seek dynamic individuals with a comprehensive understanding of developing and overseeing innovative health care delivery models, sustaining excellence in clinical care, supporting academic endeavors, and promoting research initiatives and scholarly activity. Outstanding strategic communication and diplomacy skills are critical as Wright State and Premier Physician Network continue to transform the health of the region in new and innovative ways.
Minimum qualifications and expectations include clinical care, education, and participation in research and teaching as part of a full-time faculty position.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- MD, DO or MBBS degree.
- Completed Internal Medicine residency.
- Completed or currently enrolled in Infectious Disease fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
- Ohio Medical License
- Federally issued DEA License
Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities- Opportunity for acute care infectious disease consult service with some outpatient requirements
- Antibiotic Stewardship Center of Excellence through IDSA
- Clinical teaching, supervision, and patient care on the division’s services, including a combination of inpatient teaching service, Miami Valley Infection Specialists clinics; working with a large outpatient HIV population and other infectious diseases
- Opportunity to participate in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical conferences, and other teaching assignments for residents and medical students, as assigned by and in collaboration with the department and BSOM’s academic leadership
- Contributing to the division’s clinical/patient care, research, and teaching missions
