This position is a Premier Physician Network position. Wright State University and Premier Physician Network have an enhanced affiliation agreement to transform health care delivery in the Miami Valley and beyond. As part of this collaboration, Wright State’s Boonshoft School of Medicine and Premier Physician Network seek physicians to enhance and elevate academic health organizations in clinical care, research, and education.

Minimum qualifications and expectations include clinical care, education, and participation in research and teaching as part of a full-time faculty position.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD, DO or MBBS degree.
• Completed Internal Medicine residency.
• Completed or currently enrolled in Infectious Disease fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
• Ohio Medical License
• Federally issued DEA License

Preferred Qualifications

• Opportunity for acute care infectious disease consult service with some outpatient requirements
• Antibiotic Stewardship Center of Excellence through IDSA
• Clinical teaching, supervision, and patient care on the division’s services, including a combination of inpatient teaching service, Miami Valley Infection Specialists clinics; working with a large outpatient HIV population and other infectious diseases
• Opportunity to participate in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical conferences, and other teaching assignments for residents and medical students, as assigned by and in collaboration with the department and BSOM’s academic leadership
• Contributing to the division’s clinical/patient care, research, and teaching missions
