Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice: Provide comprehensive care for patients with headache and facial pain disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings, utilizing procedural skills including Onabotulinumtoxin
  
  A injections, peripheral nerve blocks, and trigger point injections.
• Education: Actively participate in the teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students, delivering lectures and contributing to the academic development of the Headache Medicine Fellowship program.
• Research: Engage in clinical research initiatives aimed at advancing the understanding and treatment of headache disorders, collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement research projects with opportunities to present and publish findings.

The Headache Medicine Fellowship at Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine provides comprehensive training in headache and facial pain management. Fellows gain extensive clinical exposure, advanced procedural skills, and research opportunities within a supportive academic environment, emphasizing leadership in teaching and mentorship to excel in both clinical and academic settings.

• Board-certified or board-eligible in primary specialty.
• Fellowship trained in Headache Medicine.
• UCNS certification in Headache Medicine.
• Demonstrated interest and experience in academic medicine, including teaching and research.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
