Dayton Children's Hospital invites experienced Pediatric Anesthesiologists to provide exceptional care on a locum basis. This esteemed hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, relies on skilled professionals like you to sustain its high standards of patient care during critical staffing periods.

In this role, you'll work within a collaborative and supportive environment, overseeing an average of 50-60 surgical cases daily across neonatal to adult patient demographics. You'll be responsible for supervising CRNAs within a team-based model, ensuring safe anesthesia practices in a busy hospital setting. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no call responsibilities, providing a predictable work-life balance.

Key skills required include proficiency in pediatric anesthesia, experience with supervising CRNAs, and the ability to manage a diverse patient population. Candidates should hold active licenses, DEA, CSR, and relevant certifications. Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center or similar high-volume environment is highly desirable.

Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with perioperative care in a hospital-based setting, strong teamwork abilities, and adaptability to fast-paced environments. Preferred candidates will have prior locum experience and a comprehensive understanding of pediatric anesthesia protocols.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid medical license for Ohio, current certifications, and the flexibility to undergo credentialing processes promptly. Candidates must also provide necessary documentation, including DOB, SSN, CAQH login details, and current contact information.

This position offers an attractive hourly pay rate, with a comprehensive benefits package including weekly direct deposit payments, medical coverage, paid sick leave, and reimbursement for licensure, certifications, and travel expenses when applicable. Travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, rental cars, and mileage will be reimbursed per facility policy.
